Versatile Visibility
Multitasking has never been easier than with the DCL040, which has a 120-degree pivoting head with 11 detent positions, extending the range of visibility and optimizing the light projection angle. Its integrated hang hook allows for hands-free capability—hang it from rails, hooks, shelves, pegs, and other surfaces to spotlight your work area. With 110 lumens that deliver bright white LED output, the DCL040 allows the user to easily differentiate between colors and help reduce shadows; as an added benefit, the LED bulb creates less heat than conventional Xenon bulbs, improving energy efficiency and user safety. When paired with the 20-volt max 3.0 Ah lithium-ion battery (not included), the DCL040 provides up to 11 hours of light output. DEWALT-designed electronics are built into the switch, maximizing the life of the tool and battery by helping to protect them from overheating, overloading, and deep discharge during use. And the included charger has dual voltage capabilities and is compatible with both 12-volt max and 20-volt max DEWALT lithium-ion batteries.
